Letters With Love October Recap: During this month, We took the season in stride by providing fun and spooky Halloween cards to children with serve disabilities and medical conditions. These cards were fun-loving, warm and cheerful so that we could help inspire fun times and laughs for these children. All the cards went towards the Elizabeth Seton Children's Center along with a $600 contribution to help raise funds for the incredible work they do at the Center. 11/4/25
Letters With Love September Recap: To start off us off for this new school year, Letters With Love embarked on a mission to send thanks to Teachers. They work in our schools and provide endless effort and time into teaching our youth so they can go out into the world and make a difference. Our mission collected 112 cards, a warm start to the missions ahead. We are so excited for what is to come! 9/28/25
Letters With Love receives Congressional Recognition for service work in Community! Thank You Congressman Mike Lawler for this Honor. 9/5/25
Letters With Love becomes a certified non-profit organization! On August 27th, the New York Department of State officially recognized Letters With Love as a non-profit organization. We are very excited about this milestone and what it will mean for our impact in the future! (8/31/25)

This year's Champion of Compassion Award Recipient: Sister Diane McSherry O.P.
May Mission Completes: This mission was aimed at bringing appreciation and gratitude to the hidden figures who keep our communities running. Although paid, there work goes further than a job, it is a fundamental part of our community. Thanks to the 54 participants who made this happen! (6/2/25)
April Mission Recap: The mission was beyond a success. Although our goal was 150, we got 342 cards almost doubling the amount of cards delivered YTD! This mission hit a record for the most participants with a staggering 96 individuals joining the cause! Written on 4/9/25
Scoop Feature: Letters with love was featured in The Scoop, a Newsletter for Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of New York. They said "JohnCarlo Mandara '26 initiated a project called Letters of Love, an outreach to senior citizens, veterans and the homebound. He led Albertus Students to create over 200 Valentine's Day cards with a thoughtfully written greeting included in each card. JohnCarlo then delivered and visited with elders residing at Dowling Gardens and Thorpe Village in Sparkill."
Although the name was spelt wrong, the thoughtfulness of the write up stood out. Thanks for your kind words. (4/8/25)
